Career Talk – Roxanna Menson – Careers in Mathematics and Statistics

On Tuesday April 23, Prof. Roxanna Menson will give a career talk on being a statistician with ETS and the College Board. Prof Menson will also discuss the pros and cons of industry versus graduate school as well as other career pathways. Prof Menson received her bachelor’s from TCNJ and Masters in Statistics from Rutgers. Following her talk, I will share prepared remarks from Minjung Kang, a consulting for Ernst and Young, who received her bachelor’s in Mathematics from Bryn Mawr College. Time allowing, I will present my findings from the Joint Mathematics Meetings on the current trends in the workplace and skills employers are looking for.

I hope you will encourage your students to attend.
